To celebrate its 5th anniversary, the Trebek Initiative is launching a special RFP exclusively for National Geographic Explorers who are working on projects that impact water, wildlife and land in Canada. This anniversary fund is open to storytellers, researchers, conservationists, educators, and innovators. Applicants may request up to $20,000 CAD. The application deadline is October 8th, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET. Successful proposals will be announced in December 2025, with funding distributed in March 2026.
